As my undergraduate thesis at Reed college, I studied Nitrogen Vacancy centers in Diamonds. I built the apparatus shown in the picture, inspired by Zhang et al. (https://arxiv.org/abs/1708.00418) and Sewani et al. (https://arxiv.org/abs/2004.02643). I studied the optically detected magnetic resonance of the NV centers.
