My name is Yilian Liu and I am a Master of Science student in Applied Physics at Cornell University's College of Engineering.

I am currently working on a Variational Quantum Algorithm for numerically solving nonlinear partial differential equations.

I graduated with a BA in Physics from Reed College where I wrote my undergraduate thesis on Optically Detected Magnetic Resonance in NV diamonds.

I am interested in quantum systems, quantum hardware, quantum algorithms, and anything physics.
